Our Beginnings:
Established in 1993 by Mr. Ranbir Singh Gandhi, Hills Trade Agencies (HTA) has made a significant mark in various sectors. Our journey commenced with a groundbreaking 33-years bamboo forest lease in N. C. Hills, Assam. In just 5 years of operations, HTA became the largest bamboo trading company in India with bamboos being supplied to all leading paper manufacturers across India.
Our Diverse Ventures:
In 2009, we expanded our horizons into government contracts for construction in railways and roads. This diversification led us to undertake numerous major construction projects in Jharkhand and Assam. Our reputation has been meticulously built upon the pillars of consistent quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. It has been tested and proven through our involvement in countless projects in the most challenging terrains and conditions, collaborating with esteemed entities like PWD, RCD, N.F. Railways, East Central Railways, and UPRNN, among others.
With an already distinguished reputation established over three decades in Assam, Hills Trade Agencies recognized the further scope and need for evolution and expansion.
Production of Stone Aggregate – The Journey:
In 2017, our Visionary Promoters learnt that Government of India had put thrust on Infrastructure Development in North East India and the Stone Crusher Industry in North East was like cottage industries and was unable to cater to this rising demand of stone aggregate. This led to the founding of “Singh Brothers” to become the Flagship Firm to spearhead our Stone Mining and Crushing businesses.
In a first, Government of Assam granted us three Stone Mines in the Reserve Forest Area which were integrated to our Mega Stone Crushers. The establishment of our first Crusher factory was in Gova, Jagiroad. Recognizing the growth potential, we swiftly commissioned two additional Stone Crusher Factories in 2018, located in Jagiroad and Nagaon. The fourth Factory was commissioned in 2021 in Karbi Anglong.
Our captive stone mines are the backbone of the business. Our mines, spread across Karbi Anglong and Jagiroad ensure relentless supply of raw material at consistently cost-effective price.
Having garnered profound expertise and proven ourselves in the fiercely competitive markets of mining and stone crushing over the years, Singh Brothers is poised for expansion into other North Eastern states. We are currently in the process of acquiring new mines at various locations of North East which would become feeders to our future Stone Crusher factories.
